About Jerome Gapczynski
Jerome Gapczynski is currently in his senior year at Lake Superior State University. Jerome is pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on law enforcement. He is expecting to graduate within the year and pursue a career in law enforcement.
Before his educational pursuits, Mr. Gapczynski was enlisted in the United States Army where he served as a machine gun team leader in the 75th Ranger Regiment, a special operations unit. While serving, he deployed to Afghanistan three times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. As a student veteran Jerome is involved in the Buddy to Buddy organization. This is an all veteran volunteer organization with the purpose to support both active and returning veterans with their transition back to civilian life.
Mr. Gapczynski served as a research assistant to Frank Tridico's Hate Crimes (2015) and focused on issues relative to global terrorism and organizational structures. Gapczynski brings his overseas military expertise to his research duties, and is slated to take on other projects for upcoming titles including History of Violence in America and The Spirit of Revolution, to be published by Landon Elsemere Press.
